Stadium Seat Cushion Crochet Pattern
Here’s what you will need:
- 2 skeins of Lion BrandHometown USA super bulky yarn in team colors (81 yd each; shown here in New York White and Greenbay)
- N15/10 mm hook
- approx. 12 in. × 12 in. x 2 in. cushion or foam or your own size as desired (note a larger cushion will require more yarn)
- yarn needle and scissors

This pattern is written in U.S. crochet terms and abbreviations. Stitch counts are provided at the end of each round to help you keep on track.

Note: Colors are carried up the side of your work; do not fasten off after color changes.
With CA, ch 21 (or the number needed for your desired size).
Row 1: Work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, turn – 20 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st here and throughout), work 1 sc in each st across, turn.
Rows 3-6: With CB, ch 1, work 1 sc in each st across, turn.
Rows 7-8: With CA, ch 1, work 1 sc in each st across, turn.
Rows 9-10: With CB, ch 1, work 1 sc in each st across, turn.
Rows 11-14: With CA, ch 1, work 1 sc in each st across, turn.
Rows 15-16: With CB, ch 1, work 1 sc in each st across, turn.
Rows 17-18: With CA, ch 1, work 1 sc in each st across, turn.
Rows 19-22: With CB, ch 1, work 1 sc in each st across, turn.
Rep Rows 7-22 through row 56 or until piece is long enough to wrap around your cushion so beginning and ending rows meet.
Finishing
Flatten crochet piece and fold in half widthwise with fold facing you. Starting on the right edge, slip stitch edges together around two sides to close. Insert cushion through remaining open side and continue slip stitching to close. Fasten off, weave in ends.
