We’re getting ready for apple season in my neck of the woods and what better way to celebrate than with a fun apple project! I worked up this fun apple cozy … not only are these cute to use but they do help keep apples from getting bruised while bouncing around in backpacks, lunchboxes, and briefcases.

Here’s what you will need:
- Red and green worsted weight cotton yarn (I used Lion Brand’s Kitchen Cotton)
- US H-8 / 5 mm crochet hook

Absolutely adorable! I’m a little sad, having moved from Upstate New York, because that was serious apple country this time of year. I’m working on an apple pair of earrings, hopefully they will be done soon. Perhaps, next… a pie? I real apple pie, not earrings. 😀
Kara says
Oh yes, upstate NY is beautiful this time of year! Apple earrings sound so cute too 🙂
