The Chain Reaction Afghan Project was created with the purpose of creating a movement in which crocheters could make a difference by creating afghans to donate to charity. To this end, Interweave Crochet compiled twenty 12-in. square patterns designed by well known crochet designers, as well as by Interweave Crochet readers, and made them available in this awesome ebook.
These patterns are great for trying out some new crochet techniques and stitch patterns while helping others. You can choose to make the whole afghan yourself or join forces with some friends. For every afghan donated, alone or as a group, Interweave will donate $5 to Warm Up America (for up to a total of 500 afghans). Click here for submission instructions.
