Wrapped in Love is a group of amazing and talented women who came together to organize memory blankets for families who recently lost a child. The blankets are made from granny squares donated by crocheters from all over the world and given to the grieving families in an effort to help ease some of their suffering and show that they are not forgotten.
Want to help? Donated squares must be 6 in. by 6 in. square and made from acrylic yarn. Click here to see a list of the current memory blankets being made. The group is also looking for volunteers to assemble the squares into blankets and even monetary donations are welcome to help cover blanket shipping costs.
Need a pattern? No worries … they even have a list of resources for free square patterns. Or you can always pick one of the square patterns from our featured book this month, Beyond the Square: Crochet Motifs.
