This crochet heart sachet pattern is very simple and quick to work up. They are perfect to give as a Valentine’s treat or as a heartfelt gift any time of year. Just fill them with your favorite potpourri or dab with some essential oils.

Crochet Heart Sachet Pattern
Here’s what you need:
- 2 colors worsted weight yarn
- US H-8 / 5 mm crochet hook
- tapestry needle
- potpourri or fiberfill stuffing with a few drops or essentials oils

Special Stitches:
Two double crochet cluster (2dc-cl): Yarn over, insert hook into specified stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook, repeat once more (3 loops will be on hook), yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on hook.
Three double crochet cluster (3dc-cl): Yarn over, insert hook into specified stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook, repeat 2 more times (4 loops will be on hook), yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook.
Finished size: approx. 3½ in.
Flower Centered Heart (Front, Make 1)
With Color A, make a magic ring (as an alternative to the magic ring, you can ch 4 and join with a slip stitch in furthest chain from hook to form a ring).
Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as part of 1st dc-cl), working into the ring, work a 2dc-cl, ch 3, *work a 3dc-cl, ch 3, rep from * 3 more times, join, fasten off Color A — 5 clusters and 5 ch-sps.
Round 2: Join Color B in any ch-sp, ch 1 (does not count as st), work 2 sc in same ch-sp, work 4 sc in next ch-sp, work [4 hdcs, ch 1, Sl st] in next ch-sp, work [Sl st, ch 1, 4 hdcs] in next ch-sp, work 4 sc in next ch-sp, work 1 sc in same ch-sp as first st of round, join — 21 sts (not counting chains).
Round 3: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, 1 dc in next, 2 dc in next, 3 dc in next, 2 hdc in next, ch 1, Sl st in Sl st from previous round, ch 1, 2 hdc in next, 3 dc in next st, 2 dc in next, 1 dc in next, 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, join — 28 sts (not counting chains).
Fasten off.
Solid Heart (Back, Make 1)
Make a magic ring (as an alternative to the magic ring, you can ch 4 and join with a slip stitch in furthest chain from hook to form a ring).
Round 1: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), working into the ring, work 3 hdc, 3 dc, ch 1, Sl st in ring, ch 1, continue working in ring 3 dc, 3 hdc, join — 14 sts (not counting chains).
Round 2: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), work 1 hdc in each of the next 3 sts, 1 dc in next, 2 dc in next, 3 dc in next, ch 1, Sl st in Sl st from previous round, ch 1, 3 dc in next st, 2 dc in next, 1 dc in next, 1 hdc in each of the next 3 sts, join — 20 sts (not counting chains).
Round 3: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), work 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, 1 dc in next, 2 dc in next, 3 dc in next, 2 hdc in next, ch 1, Sl st in Sl st from previous round, ch 1, 2 hdc in next, 3 dc in next st, 2 dc in next, 1 dc in next, 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, join — 28 sts (not counting chains).
Fasten off.
Finishing
To assemble your sachets, place hearts together with wrong sides facing. Join yarn in the back loops of any st from Round 3. Sl st the pieces together using the back loops only. Fill with fiberfill stuffing scented with a few drops of essential oils or fill with potpourri before working last few stitches. Weave in ends.
