This Sweetheart Scrubby adds a lovely accent to your kitchen. Work it up for your Valentine decor or use it all year long. The Sweetheart Scrubby is designed as a single crochet heart pattern worked in rows. I chose this method for a couple reasons. First, I like using single crochet stitches for scrubby patterns because the density of the stitch works great for its use. Second, since sometimes the scrubby yarns make it difficult to identify stitches, I find that working in rows is easier with the scrubby yarn than working in rounds. If you prefer to work your heart in rounds though, you can follow this crochet heart pattern here.

Hi, your links on Facebook aren’t working. The last 4 posts say “file not found.” You might want to look into it.

I don’t like working with the scrubby yarn, I get really lost with all the loops in the yarn and it messes up the stitches for me. I end up being crazy frustrated with it! I really wanted to try this project and thought I would make a dish cloth with it….I just used a cotton yarn and for the edging I went around twice with a single crochet. It turned out nice, I used a varigated yarn that I had on hand. It turned out cute, not really big but I don’t like big dish cloths anyhow. Thanks for a quick item to make for Valentines Day!

Hi Loni 🙂 At the bottom of the page is a printable pattern. There is a print button and it only prints the pattern.
