This sweet crochet clover can be used to embellish anything. At only 2 inches tall it is the perfect size for a festive brooch, to decorate a hairband, use it as a clover applique for home decor items … I am sure you will come up with some even more creative uses!

Here’s what you need:
- Sport weight yarn, show here inLion Brand Bonbons in Seafoam Green
- US F-5 / 3.7 mm crochet hook
- tapestry needle and scissors for finishing

Add this pattern to your Ravelry library.
Finished clover size is approx. 2 in.
Make a magic ring (as an alternative to the magic ring, you can ch 4 and join with a slip stitch in furthest chain from hook to form a ring).
Round 1: Ch 1, work 7 sc into ring, join in 1st sc — 7 sts.
Round 2: Ch 1, 1 sc in same st as join, *ch 2, skip 1, 1 sc in next, rep from * twice more, join —3 ch-2 loops and 4 scs.
Round 3: Ch 1, *[1 hdc, 5 dc, 1 hdc] in ch-2 sp, ch 1, Sl st in next sc, ch 1, rep from * twice more, ch 3 more, work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 2 ch (working the scs in the back ridges of the chain make a nice curve to the stem), join.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
